Continuous improvement is at the heart of our concerns, and the work carried out by our teams in 2023 is eloquent testimony to this. We have worked in an agile manner to evolve our practices and service offering for the benefit of consumers, our members and our partners.
Listening to needs
Considering that the Fichier central des sinistres automobiles (FCSA) is being consulted more than ever, both by insurers and brokers and by consumers, we wanted to clarify the procedure to follow for consulting files and to remind them of the rights related to access and rectification of personal information.
Work continued on the review and drafting of plain language auto insurance policies. The intentions on which the new texts are drafted have been finalized and approved.
Initiatives for our members and partners include the development of a tool to help them improve their knowledge of the Risk Sharing Plan (RSP) and changes to RSP By-law No. 7. GAA has also revised several of its damage assessment guidelines and reinstated paint allowances.
In tune with the times
The evolution of the workplace prompted us to undertake an exercise to redefine our organizational values, conducted with the participation of employees. This is an important exercise because our values shape the way we do our work every day.
Two values that have been in our DNA for a long time – collaboration and professionalism – have been renewed, to which are added two new values that are very much of our time: flexibility and benevolence. These values align perfectly with our organization's mission and vision.
This activity report provides an overview of the achievements made in 2023 by our teams and by the industry professionals who sit on our committees. I would like to warmly thank them, as well as the members of the Board of Directors who contribute to making GAA a dynamic organization that is connected to today's realities.
