Article with example of the calculation of the marked-up price paid
To support insurers regarding the modifications made by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) to the application of the Q.E.F. 43E, paragraph 3, a new article for professionals is now available. It explains the new option with an example of how to calculate the marked-up price paid if the insured chooses an indemnity in cash rather than replace their vehicle. As a reminder, these changes have been in force since January 15, 2025.
